It had been refurbished to an exceptional standard over the last two years and the room I stayed in was en executive double. Tasteful décor, fine furnishings and a warm welcome by the hosts was just some of the benefits of staying in this high quality accommodation as opposed to a Lake District Hotel. The breakfast was scrummy, made from fresh local produce and the view from the bedroom was magnificent. I`ll never stay in a Lake District Hotel again, not when terrific bed and breakfast accommodation can be found instead.
